Cabinets, Racks, Subracks and Chassis Under Indoor Condition Use and Transportation

This product, which is called Rack Cabinet / Cabinet in today's market, is used to ensure the order and security of electronic devices and computer systems used in offices or houses.

As with every product, in this product, type tests should be carried out within the scope of TS EN / IEC 61587-1 in order to verify the performance of Rack Cabinets / Cabinets. According to the performance level of the product, it must have resistance against both environmental conditions and mechanical forces. In order to verify the performance of Rack Cabinet / Cabinets, the following type tests should be performed.

  • Cold, Dry Heat, Damp Heat Tests

Type tests are carried out according to the climate level classification of Rack Cabinets / Cabinets.

-Cold Test; It is carried out in the cooling room for 12 hours in accordance with the IEC 60068-2-1 standard according to the specified climate level. There should not be any deformation in the product at the end of the test.

-Dry Heat Test; It is carried out in the heating room for 12 hours in accordance with the IEC 60068-2-2 standard according to the specified climate level. There should not be any deformation in the product at the end of the test.

-Damp Heat Test; It is carried out for 2 hours in 2 cycles in accordance with the IEC 60068-2-30 standard according to the specified climate level. There should not be any deformation in the product at the end of the test.

  • Industrial Atmosphere Test

Type tests are carried out according to the industrial atmosphere level classification of Rack Cabinets / Cabinets. Sulfur dioxide according to IEC 60068-2-42, IEC 60068-2-43 and IEC 60068-2-49 is carried out for 4 days at 40ºC and 80% Rh for test and then hydrogen sulfide test for 4 days. After these applications, salt fog test is carried out according to IEC 60068-2-11. At the end of the tests, visual inspection and degree of corrosion control are performed.

  • Lifting

The rack cabinets / cabinets can be used in parallel with the product according to the static and mechanical load classification. It is made by applying with the help of tools. At the end of the type test, electrical continuity control in the product is made. The measured resistance should not exceed 0.1Ω.

  • Stiffness Test

It is carried out by pulling or pushing the force determined according to the static and mechanical load classification of Rack Cabinet / Cabinets to the right and left. At the end of the type test, electrical continuity control in the product is made. The measured resistance should not exceed 0.1Ω.

  • Nominal Load Test

The loads determined according to the static and mechanical load classification of Rack Cabinet / Cabinets are applied to the body sheet and floor of the product for 5 minutes. At the end of the type test, electrical continuity control in the product is made. The measured resistance should not exceed 0.1Ω. Also, there should not be more than 3 mm bending in the body sheet.

  • Impact Test

In accordance with the mechanical impact code declared by the company, impact tests are applied to metal parts and glass or plastic surfaces. At the end of the type test, visual inspection and electrical continuity control are performed on the product. The measured resistance should not exceed 0.1Ω.

  • Earth Bond Test

The test is checked that resistance measurement will be carried out at 10 A between conductive surfaces where the operator may have contact in normal use and the ground connection point. Resistors measured at the end of the type test should not exceed 0.1 Ω.

  • Flammability Test

Tests are carried out on plastic products on Rack Cabinet / Cabinets. The test is subjected to an incombustibility test in accordance with the IEC 60695-11-10 standard. The performance level of the products after the type test should be in the V2 class.

  • Verification fo Degree of Protection (IP Code)

It is subjected to IP tests in accordance with the IEC 60529 standard to the degree of protection specified by the company.

Rack Cabinet / Cabinets must successfully perform the type tests specified under these titles.
